Aggrieved party
One whose legal right is invaded by an act(s) of another.

Agreed boundary
Property lines that are drawn to settle a dispute between neighboring property owners.

Agreement of sale
An agreement between parties for the sale of real estate. In some states it is synonymous with a Purchase Agreement, Sales Agreement, or Land Contract or Earnest Money Contract.

The level of selected pollutants set by law that may not be exceeded in outside air.

Air rights
Rights to the use of the open space or vertical plane above a property. Ownership of land includes the right to all air above the property.

Alcove
A recessed section of a room, such as a breakfast nook.

Alienation
The act of transferring ownership, title, interest, or estate in real property from one person to another.
