Call date

   Periodic or continuous rights given to the lender to cause payment of the total principal balance prior to the maturity date.

A term which can refer to the institution making the loan or to the individual representing the firm.

Principal
1) The outstanding balance of a loan. 2) A party to a real estate transaction. 3) The head of a real estate firm.

Balance
The appraisal principle that states that the greatest value in a property will occur when the type and size of the improvements are proportional to each other as well as the land.

Maturity
The date on which the principal balance of a loan, bond, or other financial instrument becomes due and payable.
