Consent
The consent is an agreement. Voluntary acceptance of the wish of another. Example: consent of a co-owner to rent a property to someone.

Consent judgment
A judge's legally binding approval of a written agreement by the parties of a lawsuit.

Conservator
A guardian, protector, preserver or receiver appointed by a court to administer the person and property of another (usually an incapable adult) and to ensure that the property will be properly managed.

Consideration
Anything of value given to induce someone into entering into a contract.

A service that offers counseling about how to work out a realistic budget and debt repayment plan and work with creditors.

The Consumer Credit Protection Act, passed in 1968, for the first time spelled out basic consumer protections, including Truth in Lending disclosures.

Consumer debts
Debts incurred for personal, as opposed to business, needs.

Consumer price index (CPI)
Measures inflation in relation to the change in the price of goods and services purchased by a specified population during a base period of time.
