  Executor



Executor

   A person named in a will to administer an estate. The court will appoint an administrator if no executor is named.

Will
A written document, properly witnessed, providing for the transfer of title to property owned by the deceased, called the testator.

Estate
The ownership interest of a person in real property, also used to refer to a deceased person's property.

Administrator
A male person appointed by the court to settle the estate of a person who has died intestate (leaving no will).

Executor
