  Granting clause



Granting clause

   Words in a deed of conveyance that state the grantor's intention to convey the property at the present time. This clause is generally worded as "convey and warrant," "grant," "grant, bargain and sell" or the like.

Deed
A signed, written instrument that conveys title to real property.

Conveyance
Conveyance is the transfer of title of real estate property from one individual to another.

Property
The rights of ownership. The right to use, possess, enjoy, and dispose of a thing in every legal way and to exclude everyone else from interfering with these rights.

Gross estimate
All money coming into a household on a regular basis.
